A young lady called our office to discuss zoning and the use of a lot she wanted to purchase in Palm Coast. The Zillow listing indicted a by owner offering at $15,500!! Immediately I let her know it was a fraud. No usable lot in Palm Coast is selling or listed for at $15,500. The typical listing in the area is in the range of $60,000. Further research showed that the lot was currently listed on the Flagler County MLS for $59,000.

The intent of the fraudster is to get you to wire the money to an account. At that price they would try to get you to have all the money sent , but a deposit of $5,000 might also work to secure the deal. How lucky can you be to get a lot in Palm Coast in this market for less than $20,000? So you better hurry and send them the money!
