FLAGLER COUNTY DISASTER ASSISTANCE

Disaster Assistance – Housing-Related Relief for Damage or Income Loss

Flagler County’s Disaster Assistance Program offers relief for residents whose housing situation has been impacted by a federally or state-declared disaster. Assistance is available for:

Home Repairs due to disaster damage (up to $10,000)
Insurance Deductibles related to the disaster (up to $5,000)
Short-Term Rental or Mortgage Assistance for those who have lost employment income due to the disaster (up to $10,000)

Eligibility is limited to very low to moderate-income households. Applicants must provide proof of income or employment loss directly caused by the disaster for each month they are requesting rental or mortgage assistance.

This program does not provide

General financial aid
Food assistance
Relocation assistance
Help finding housing
Assistance with temporary shelter
Disaster assistance for previous, non-active disaster declarations
