I walked into my client’s house and smelled death💀🧟.

Honestly, I was worried I might find the housekeeper on the floor—it was that bad. 😳

Thankfully, no human casualties. The Sub-Zero freezer had failed…and it was full of meat. 🥩🫠

I was only there to bring in the mail while my clients were away for the summer, but looking after their home doesn’t end when the transaction closes. One call to my appliance guy, and we were on it.
The culprit? Dust buildup on the freezer’s condenser. When it can’t release heat properly, it can overheat and eventually fail.

PRO TIP: At the end of the season—and again when you return—carefully vacuum the dust from your refrigerator and freezer condenser coils. Be gentle with the delicate fins, or have a professional do it for you.

This is one of the ways I add value long after closing. I have tradespeople for just about everything, an excellent contractor team, and years of experience helping clients renovate, maintain and protect their desert homes.
