🎶🎶 Sending Love to Nashville this week. Tornadoes just blew through. My heart goes out to those impacted. 🎶🎶

We just got back for Celebrating Jason’s 70th there. I gave Jason a choice of a party to celebrate his birthday or an adventure. He chose an adventure to Nashville and we whisked away for a quick trip for some Hockey and H***y Tonk!

Cannot say enough great things about Nashville. It has stolen our hearts. The people, music and history. Incredible.

We weaved in and out of the multi level bars on Broadway till the wee hours of the mornings. And EVERYONE gets ID’d. (Kinda nice when turning 70 to get ID’d. )

Toured museums in the daytime, saw one of Elvis’s gold and diamond adorned cars with a TV and Refrigerator inside, experienced moonshine tastings, hot chicken sampling (Jason), saw where Oprah got her start, and made it on the Jumbotron at the Nashville Predators Hockey game with the birthday boy…. The other birthday boy…….mistakenly the cameraman paired me dancing with the wrong birthday boy on the big screen as I was sandwiched between Jason and another fan also celebrating his birthday.

And those Nashville Predators fans… next level! The songs they sing, the chants, the traditions. Insane.

Thank you for the Southern hospitality Nashville, we will be back. Loved this town and what a great way to celebrate my handsome hubby’s milestone birthday.

Long story about good people and staying the course…

This was the home of a close friend becoming an empty nester and making a cross world move. Her kids saw their best teenage years here and it was a home of much joy. She took on prepping her home for sale with new paint and carpet plus staging, graduating her son, and planning a huge move all within a months time. Truly an amazing get it done kinda girl with the help of an amazing hubby and kids.

Life changes and they were changing quickly with it. Time was of the essence. We had to get this home sold before their mid July move. Mere weeks to accomplish it all. Challenge accepted.

We got to work. All of us. Showings, negotiations, follow ups. Within 3 days… offer in, contingencies tightened to 10 days, offer accepted. Then all things fell apart on the 10th day. Back to the market we go.

Just devastating, for all. No one, especially good people like these deserved this. So devastating. All I knew to do was to keep moving forward and get back into escrow.

I called every past showing, re-marketed and re-exposed the home and we got a buyer within hours. I shared this family’s disappointment of the last escrow and this Buyer/Agent was so compassionate he granted all their wishes, plus removed all contingencies upon offering. Now they had full peace of mind and focus on their big move. We certainly need more people like this.

There are so many good people out there and sometimes you just have to let go of what’s happened, keep moving forward and find the better road.

This is a family who I’ve seen grow over the years. They purchased this home from me 5 years ago with 4 little ones in tow.
