When i told agent & escrow friends i had a friend buying an REO on LEASE LAND, they all laughed at me.

Thunderbird Country Club in Rancho Mirage helped change the game of golf forever ⛳️✨

In 1951, Eddie Susalla, Associate Golf Professional at Thunderbird, introduced one of the first golf carts to the sport after spotting a gas powered cart cruising the sidewalks of Long Beach. He purchased the vehicle, shipped it back to Thunderbird, and adapted it for golf.

The carts quickly spread to Los Angeles Country Club through overlapping membership, and soon after, across the nation. By 1953, Susalla had developed a four wheeled version, cementing Thunderbird’s place in golf history.

So proud of this community... I am a member of Circle of Stars because I am so grateful to Eisenhower Health for their breast cancer team, they took such great care of me.
This little group of mostly women raised $1.4M this year!
Every year COS takes on a $1M+ challenge for very expensive, specialized equipment... This year we donated electrophysiology equipment for their new state-of-the-art cardiovascular pavilion.
As Andrea and I love to say: We live here and LOVE IT, and we want you to love it, too.

I was a burger aficionado for many years... Had to dial that back in favor of lower blood pressure, unfortunately. Still have one occasionally as a treat, tho.
PSL just did a piece on 2 faves: Heyday (PS) and Grill-a-Burger (PD), which was also recently named in USA Today's list of top restaurants in the US.
But my OTHER faves -- and frankly I think better than those 2 above -- GastroGrind in PD (a Guy Fieri fave!) and Project Burger in PD, which has won the hearts of so many up & down the valley (and created by the 22yo grandson of the family who owns Crudo, Salsa's, Oceana and more).

Dan Hamilton is my mentor and dear friend -- he was my agent here before I was licensed and still in the corporate slog (he also came from LA, was at Sony Music as a tech exec). He's at Coldwell, too -- and one of many, many reasons why Andrea and chose CB.
He's also a superfan of the Firebirds, and has brought me to many games; next year I am going to split season tickets with him. CAN'T WAIT.
Such a treat! Friends and clients: expect an email from me this Fall about joining me for a game :) See the pic with Dan pointing at the stands -- those are where our tix are.
We went to dinner at beloved Project Burger then to a season ticket holder event where we could go on the ice and write messages on the ice. Very special.

Love is love.
The desert is incredibly diverse, and one of my favorite things about living here is the LGBTQ community... my neighbors, friends, co-workers...
But most importantly, my FAMILY.
Reminder that June is Pride month -- and I am *beyond* proud of my friends who are able to say "this is who I am."
