Delightful piece... I love his perspective on so many pieces of his own story. Ex: he only coaches those who want to be great players, not make a ton of money. I feel same about real estate, BTW. If agents cared about doing the job properly instead of focusing on the money, the industry would have a better reputation as a professional service (emphasis on SERVICE). This is yet another reason I love the desert: PS Life does really great editorial AND their subjects are fascinating / great tales.

I love my "clients." (really -- friends).
Many of you reading this are my clients & friends, and many of you do wonderful things like this & treats for me constantly.
I cracked up BIG TIME when I opened this at home, after a tour of many houses in mega heat plus a little snack at Holiday House in PS with M & R.
(IYKYK: fries & the killer cookies at HH are not to be missed... Zepbound be damned).

Biz partner appreciation post...
I hit the freaking lottery when I met Andrea (and I know she would say same).
We are so similar, and yet different enough -- we complement each other's abilities and thinking.
We are such hustle and heart types... we care a lot about each other, our clients, the business. We work our butts off. And we are *exceptional* at supporting one another... Even-steven on work loads (a little different than my former situation, IYKYK ;)
Andrea EXCELS at marketing. I mean -- she is a freaking star!! (I am the operational dork, as you would expect).
We ALWAYS do the big stuff and planning and strategizing TOGETHER. And then when it comes to getting work done, we each take the piece of it we excel at and like to do... We talk thru and modify and adapt because we trust each other's abilities.
