A seller lists without preparation and the home sits for 60 days with no offers. The photos were taken on a phone and the price was based on what felt right instead of what the market supports.

Before you put your biggest asset in someone's hands, find out if they're a people pleaser.

If you're selling, your agent is going to give you a number. A people pleaser gives you the number that makes you sign. The sign goes in the yard. Six weeks later, the correctly priced home down the street sells, and yours hasn't had a showing.

That conversation happens at MVT before anything is signed. If your number won't hold in this market, you hear it before the sign goes anywhere. Some clients have walked away over it.
