It's a crisp, peaceful morning at Donald Wexler's Twin Springs following the rain and wind storm.

We got 1/2 inch of rain in the Twin Springs rain gauge, bringing our total since mid-November to 4.5 inches--and there is even fresh snow in the mountains overlooking Palm Springs!

Did you know....

Arthur Elrod Associates were selected to lavishly furnish the clubhouse and model condos at Donald Wexler's Twin Springs, which opened in 1973. In fact, some of Elrod's design selections and original art work and still preserved in the clubhouse and several condos.

"Designer Arthur Elrod was a pioneer of interior design, creating sophisticated spaces that complemented the region’s modernist architecture. ⁠

Arriving in Palm Springs in 1947, he quickly became the go-to designer for Walt Disney, Lucille Ball, and Desi Arnaz, blending sleek custom furnishings, cutting-edge technology, and vibrant color palettes into his visionary interiors.⁠

His most legendary creation? His own boulder-integrated masterpiece, designed with John Lautner and immortalized in Diamonds Are Forever (1971).
