Today the Coachella Valley offices started something new that will become a weekly tradition — our brokerage caravan — and today we had the privilege of visiting Mission Lakes Country Club in Desert Hot Springs.

I have to say, I was genuinely impressed. The community is beautiful, the homes we toured were fantastic, and the golf course was absolutely pristine. We even hopped in golf carts and rode up to the 11th hole, where the views of the community, the valley, and the surrounding mountains were breathtaking. One thing that really stood out is that the 11th hole sits right along protected land — one side borders Joshua Tree and the rest borders BLM land, which gives the area a wide-open desert backdrop that’s pretty spectacular.

We also toured the clubhouse and amenities, including the restaurant, sandwich shop, golf shop, gym, and pool. One thing that really surprised me was learning they even have a small eight-room hotel on site with direct access to the pool, which is such a unique feature for a community like this.

The HOA board members we met were incredibly welcoming and clearly care deeply about their community. It was great getting to see the neighborhood through their eyes.

And honestly… I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun on a caravan before. It was just a great group of people.

At one point during the tour, a dog was wandering aimlessly in the street. Without hesitation, several of the agents stopped to protect the pup from traffic and made sure it had water while they waited until a neighbor came out and took custody so it would be safe.

Moments like that say a lot about the kind of people I’m surrounded by.

Great homes. Beautiful community. Incredible colleagues.

I truly can’t imagine working anywhere else.
