✨ Notice to Perform: Aggressive or the New Standard? ✨
Lately, I’ve noticed more TCs sending a Notice to Perform just two days before the contingency removal is due.
From my perspective, when there’s clear communication and strong relationships, an NTP feels unnecessary—and even a little aggressive.
In my Facebook TC group, someone shared:
“I used to feel this way…but I don’t anymore. As long as the agent tells the other agent, ‘Please don’t be offended, this is part of my standard process,’ then that goes a long way.”
💭 That really made me think… maybe it’s not about applying pressure at all. Maybe it’s just becoming the new standard procedure.
For me though, I’ll always lean on open communication and strong relationships.
What do you think—are NTPs a safeguard ✅ or a step too far ❌?
