When a property🏡 goes vacant, it is best to give the insurance company a call as soon as possible. Typically the carriers will give you about 🗓️30 days to convert the standard policy into a vacant home policy. We recommend that you get the fire, and liability insurance, as well as vandalism insurance, just in case. You don’t want to have a claim denied because you don’t have the proper insurance coverage in place. And if you have a monitored security system and or a smart water shut off system mention this to the insurance company you may get a 💵discount every little bit helps.👍
