- One-bedroom loft apartment
- Water and electric included

Exciting news! With all the great things happening on Old Main Street, Cory Wright, Fine Artist is making a few changes to ensure the gallery will have more consistent hours and be open to the public more often. Ten years ago today — July 30, 2015 — my wife and I closed on The Lofts on Old Main Street in Palmetto.

That day marked the beginning of a journey to pour our passion, love, and dreams into this historic 1913 building and the surrounding Palmetto Historic District.

Since then, we’ve experienced incredible highs — and some tough lows. There were moments we almost walked away. But nearly every inch of the building has been restored or rebuilt with the hope that it will stand strong for another century, all while honoring its historic character.

We’ve intentionally sought out tenants like Dee and Kevin Askut of D's Breakfast & Burgers — people who share our vision and love for this community.

We’ve worked to be active participants, not just property owners — striving to make a meaningful impact on the neighborhood and its people.

When we take a step back and look at the progress over the past decade, it’s inspiring:

New businesses are opening.
New property owners are investing.
New developments are on the horizon.

And more than anything, we’re seeing renewed energy from the community itself — people stepping up to shape a future that is thoughtful, vibrant, and true to the charm that makes this place so special.

There’s still work ahead to realize the full potential of the Palmetto Historic District as a true destination. But today, we’re pausing with deep gratitude to celebrate how far we’ve come.

To everyone who has shared this journey with us — thank you.
