While fairly young in terms of years since its launch, the history and inspiration behind Inspired Development Group, Inc (IDG) dates all the way back to 1967. There’s a very good reason company founder Andrew Wischhover is as comfortable on a construction site as he is in a boardroom. This third-generation contractor comes from a long line of craftsmen and entrepreneurs who taught him the value o

f hard work and impressed upon him that it isn’t enough to merely perform, a craft trade, but to strive to do it better than anyone else. Andrew officially got his start in construction at the age of 16 as summer laborer on job sites. He quickly worked his way to carpenter apprentice where the terms “measure twice cut once” became permanently embedded as gospel allowing him to hone his skill as a perfectionist. In all the years since, his attention-to-detail and commitment to owner satisfaction have been integral to the company’s success in land acquisitions, development, planning, design, construction, and project management. With the creation of Inspired Development Group, Inc., the legacy of his father and grandfather continues. Aimee, as its President, offers leadership, organization, experience and direction to guide us towards becoming a prominent construction & development company in Illinois and Indiana. Several years ago, Andrew hired Aimee as an Intern and saw her innate ability and excitement for project development. Since that time, she has established a proven track record of success in this male-dominated industry.
