The Midwest is still strong… a rate cut will only bring in more buyers. Keep in mind the market is always changing.

These are the top 12 metros where homes are selling the fastest in the U.S. even as the market stalls.

While the U.S. housing market slowed in August, some metros, especially in the Midwest, moved homes much faster.

Nationwide, homes sat on the market for a median of 60 days, up a week from last year (). But in Milwaukee, homes sold in just 32 days, half the national pace and the fastest among the 50 largest metros.

Of the 12 metros with the shortest market times (under 40 days), six were in the Midwest, three in the Northeast, and three in the South.

This Italian village is offering $1 homes for those who want to leave America 👀

“Are you worn out by global politics? Looking to embrace a more balanced lifestyle while securing new opportunities?” a website created to advertise the properties asks. “It’s time to start building your European escape in the stunning paradise of Sardinia.”

The website has yet to list any of the homes that will be available to potential buyers; however, it notes that the prices will start at 1 euro—around $1.05 USD—and go up to €100,000.

Just a little perspective- We have a tendency to glaze over what agents actually do every day, and I must admit we do pretty bad job of letting the public what we are doing behind the scenes and essentially making it look so easy. So just in case you are wondering what we do other than "just opening a door" here's a list... bet you don't even finish reading it to the end before you give up! So next time you say to yourself ... "I could have done that"... remember you couldn't even finish reading it... but we have to actually do it! We just aren't telling you... yeah I already did that!
