Up bright and early for a two-hour drive to Pensacola this morning to celebrate Navy Federal Credit Union’s 37th anniversary! 🎉

Congratulations to Kim Stacey for winning the bell! 🔔🏆

I met a room full of great lenders, agents, and brokers, and honestly, the long drive was worth it! 😃 Good company, coffee, cake, cookies, pastries, and even a few Navy Federal souvenirs made for a fun morning. ☕️🍰

Sometimes the best part of this business is getting out of the office, meeting good people, and building relationships.

Now back in PCB and time to get to work! 😄

🎥 Take 1: Got the camera set up. Got myself ready. Found the perfect angle. Ready for the perfect shot…
Except I forgot to turn the camera around. 🤦‍♀️😂

🌬️ Take 2: Cute little porch moment. Beautiful breeze. Hair blowing. Feeling the coastal vibe…
Unfortunately, the camera captured mostly my hair. 💨🤣

📹 Take 3: Me trying to figure out a new camera technique while simultaneously trying to remember what the heck I’m supposed to be doing.
Nailed it. Probably. Maybe. 🤷‍♀️

Forgot to turn the camera OFF. 😂

🎬 Take 5: And if you know me, you already know there’s a pretty good chance I’m going to trip over absolutely nothing.

Getting out of the shot.
You think you’re safely out of frame.
You wait.
You peek back around to see if the coast is clear…
NOPE. TOO SOON. 😂😂

Because apparently, making a 30-second real estate video requires approximately 47 takes, three camera angles, one minor crisis, and a whole lot of patience. 😂🤣

LET’S GET TO WORK 😃 🏡

One thing people don’t always see about being a Realtor (or any small-business owner) is that you don’t just do the job… you do all the little things around the job, too.

Marketing, paperwork, data entry, research, prospecting, spreadsheets, branding, photography, continuing education, client follow-up, and all the details that keep a business moving.

I’m the one doing those things. And yes, I’m still learning technology, figuring out social media, creating and managing my own marketing, researching, and trying to stay on top of everything that comes with running a business.

But here’s what I do know:
I KNOW REAL ESTATE.

I’ve been involved in real estate in some capacity for most of my adult life, and I genuinely love helping people.
I love the conversations, the stories, the strategy, the marketing, and the statistics and data that help us understand where we’ve been, where we are, and where the market may be headed.

So today, I’m putting the behind-the-scenes stuff in its place and getting back to what I love most… helping people along their real estate journey.
Because behind every Realtor (and small business) is a person doing a whole lot more than the service you see on the outside.
