Sometimes the biggest part of my job has nothing to do with contracts or paperwork.
Recently, I helped a buyer find what seemed like the perfect vacation home near the beach. 🌊
It checked every box:
✨ Ground-floor access
✨ A peaceful pond view
✨ Pool, clubhouse & fitness center
✨ Dedicated coworking spaces
✨ Low-maintenance ownership
After days of negotiations, we went under contract.
Then two days later, my buyer decided to walk away.
At first, it seemed like the deal was over.
But instead of simply accepting the cancellation, I started asking questions.
That's when I discovered the decision wasn't based on the property at all. It was based on incorrect information someone had shared about the costs of ownership.
After verifying the facts, clarifying the numbers, and helping my buyer work through the uncertainty, we were able to move forward with confidence.
Today, he's the proud owner of a beautiful beachside condo. 🤍
This is why guidance matters.
Sometimes the right questions can save a deal.
Sometimes they can save someone from missing out on exactly what they were looking for.
