• Location matters.
• Don’t skip inspections.
• Negotiate more than just price.

I feel like this photo pretty much sums up my life. 😅

My phone is ALWAYS in my hand.

Bare with me because this is a little lonngg winded.

Real estate doesn’t really have “business hours.” A client has a question, a showing pops up, an offer comes in, an inspection needs attention… and when you care about the people you’re working with, you want to be available. That’s a huge part of what makes a good agent communication, consistency, and actually showing up.

But somewhere between being an agent, a mom, ministry, family, church, friendships and just the everyday cares of life… I’ve been reminded that being available to everyone can’t mean being unavailable to the people sitting right in front of me.

Sometimes the most productive thing I can do is put the phone down.

Be present at the dinner table. Listen to my kids without checking a notification. Give my family the same attention I work so hard to give my clients.

Make room for God.

Make room for rest.

Make room for real life.

I’ll probably always be the agent whose phone is on and who answers when you need me because I genuinely believe that’s part of serving people well.

But I’m also learning that success isn’t just about how many people can reach you.

It’s knowing when to answer the phone… and knowing when to put it down. 🤍

Balance isn’t doing less. It’s making sure the things that matter most still get the best of you.

Everyone knows a REALTOR®

But not everyone knows you.

And I think that’s the part we forget sometimes.

People can find another agent. They can find someone with the same license, the same access to the MLS, and the same contracts to sign.

But they can’t find another YOU.

They can’t duplicate your personality, your light, your knowledge, the way you communicate, or the way you genuinely care about the person behind the transaction.

For me, real estate has never been about just getting to the closing table. It’s about listening. Showing up. Protecting my clients. Telling the truth even when it isn’t the easiest thing to say. Celebrating their wins like they’re my own. And remembering that what may be “another deal” to someone else could be one of the biggest decisions of someone’s life.

There will always be another REALTOR®.

But there will never be another you.

So bring what only you can bring to the table and watch God work. 🤍

This one is extra exciting.

I’ve had the privilege of working with this investor on multiple deals, and there’s nothing better than watching the bigger vision continue to come together.

Another investment under contract, another step toward building generational wealth and he has some incredible plans for this four-unit duplex and possibly future development along the same street.

Real estate is so much more than buying property. It’s about seeing potential, making strategic moves, and building something that lasts.
