⛱️ In the mid-1930s, Birmingham businessman Joseph Broderick Lahan {there's a street named after him} purchased a large amount of land in what became Laguna Beach, FL.

⛱️ His vision was essentially to create a beach community where friends and families from Birmingham and elsewhere could enjoy the Gulf Coast lifestyle. Early residences were being purchased or built by people from Alabama, Georgia and the Florida Panhandle.

⛱️ Laguna Beach was established in 1935. Key Lime Cottage was built in 1936 and has been sitting there through nearly that entire story, literally growing up with Laguna Beach. 💚

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "We really enjoyed our stay here! So conveniently located right across the street from the beach, which we loved. Beach area was thankfully not as busy as tends to be around the high-rise buildings. Also, traffic in this area was not bad at all. There’s a little market about a block away, which was also super awesome and convenient. Host was super responsive. Loved being right next-door to Thomas pizzas and cream! We ate there so many times and everything was so good. Loved all the little extras that they provided. Highly recommend!!!"

Did you know our little beach cottage dates all the way back to 1936?! 🏡

That means this little piece of Panama City Beach has been standing near the Gulf for about 90 YEARS! 🌊

Just imagine all the beach days, sunsets, family vacations and memories this little cottage has seen over the decades. ❤️
