Important Update on My Real Estate Services

Due to a new real estate law originating from the National Association of Realtors settlement agreement, which will be enforced starting August 17, 2024, I will be exclusively working with past customers and referrals only. Your referrals have always been a cornerstone of my business, and I deeply appreciate your continued support in this regard.

The new law requires a buyer to sign a commission agreement with the buyer's agent in order to schedule a showing. Under this law, the buyer will be responsible for paying their agent's commission, and the seller will pay their agent's commission. Consequently, the listing commission will drop from 5%-6% to 2.5%-3%.

Oppose SB 280 to
Protect Private Property Rights!

Lawmakers in the Florida House of Representatives are considering Senate Bill 280, which infringes on the rights of private property owners who wish to rent their homes on a short-term basis. If this bill passes, local governments will have no limit to what they can charge for the registration and inspection of short-term rentals. They will also be able to use minor infractions as a way to suspend short-term rentals, revoke their registration and prevent them from gaining that registration back without enduring a lengthy and costly judicial process.
