If you find a cold-stunned sea turtle on Panama City Beach — meaning it’s weak, immobile, floating in the water, or washed up on the sand after cold weather — it’s important not to try to handle or move it yourself. Cold-stunned turtles are often still alive but in a fragile state, and moving them incorrectly can injure them further.
