Backstage Pass opens its fall season this evening — Rock Mob on the Marina Lawn, 7 Harrison Ave in downtown Panama City. 7 PM, free, bring a chair.

It's an easy drive from the house and one of the nicest ways to spend a Thursday evening here: water on one side, live band on the other, nobody charging you twelve dollars for the privilege.

Fall event season starts tomorrow. 🎸

Panama City's Backstage Pass concert series kicks off Thursday on the Marina Lawn downtown — free, 7 PM, bring a chair or a blanket, right on St. Andrews Bay. It runs Thursdays through late October.

And that's just the opener. The PCB Fishing Rodeo, the Seafood Festival, Pirates of the High Seas and Oktoberfest are all coming between late September and mid-October.

There's a Pack 'n Play and a high chair here waiting — not available on request, not an add-on fee, just already in the house. We travel with a toddler ourselves, and we got tired of the trunk Tetris.

Soft blues, real furniture, no rental-grade anything. 🤍

We went with a coastal palette because it's what this place actually feels like — sea glass, sand, weathered white — not because it's what beach rentals are supposed to look like. Luxury vinyl plank floors underfoot because they handle sandy feet without complaint.

The goal was a house that feels like a home somebody loves, not an inventory unit.
