From morning walks through the Cove, to grabbing coffee at and watching the sunset over the Bay, this city has a way of making every day feel special.

Weekends look like browsing the farmers market Downtown or in St. Andrews, or catching live music at any number of local restaurants. Even simple drives down Harrison Ave. remind me why I fell in love with living here.

I get it. Orlando is all the rage. It’s the more obvious choice. It’s more well known.

But if you haven’t heard of or seriously considered Panama City, let me introduce you.

Reasons people love calling Bay County home

- Smaller town with plenty of bigger city amenities
- Top rated schools without the big city price tag
- Land, privacy & still a short drive from Publix
- Morning walks along Beach Drive
- Endless playgrounds for my kids to enjoy — our favorites are in Sweet Bay and The Drip Coffee Co. in Northstar Church
- We’re only a 45 minute drive from 30a and Mexico Beach.

And if you asked me on a deeper level, I’d tell you that the reason I love living in Bay County and would choose it any day over Orlando and think you might too is that it’s a tight knit community full of incredible people all working together to make this place great. From our small business community to the top rated schools to our public parks and more, we’re all invested in making this town special.

Whats really going on with the real estate market?

Here are a few recent stats I’ve read that I wanted to share with you all. There’s always a lot of chatter about the real estate market and I’m willing to bet that the majority of opinions aren’t based in actual data.

So today I’m sharing that data because we’re all about making data informed decisions rather than emotional decisions.
