If you are your loved ones have had your holiday travel plans disrupted by the Southwest meltdown, here are the tips to get re-booked. While circumstances seem to be out of most anyone’s control I’ve been encouraged to read several stories of strangers welcoming people in and going the extra mile to get people their checked belongings. It’s proof that there is always a silver lining but that sometimes it doesn’t look so shiny and bright. In all the years that I’ve traveled Southwest has always been eager to make these unfortunate situations right. Raising a glass to all of those who are both behind the scenes trying to unravel the disaster of what lies beneath as well as all of those who didn’t get to where they wanted to be this holiday season.

Not your typical real estate post…but you likely recognize this guy and if you don’t he was a DJ on the Ellen Show who helped teach the middle age moms how to dance. His TikTok page is filled with videos and videos of him dancing, highlighting the loves of his life as he was a father, a husband, a son, grandson, cherished friend and so much more. 4 days ago he celebrated his 9th wedding anniversary and 3 days ago posted a fun Christmas video dancing with his wife. From the outside looking in it seemed like he had it all, right? Depression does not always look the way you think it might. There is nothing but vibrance radiating from everything he posted. Now there is so much darkness for his family to sort through. We live in a heavy world. Pressure. Stress. Unkind people. Name it. If you need to talk, reach out! To a friend, a co-worker, the cashier at the grocery store, your mom, anyone. If we don’t start helping people understand how to unload some of their heavy burdens we will have more caskets to carry than arms to carry them with. Friends…you know I don’t know everything but if you feel like this world would be a better place without you at least give me the chance to prove you wrong.

Felt this one in my bones! No really, did y’all know that being overweight puts around 5 pounds of pressure on your bones and joints per pound you are overweight? You do now!

This post is to remind you that I’ll always be honest with you even if it’s not necessarily what you want to hear. That’s particularly handy to have especially when dealing in transactions that are in the hundreds of thousands category.

Enjoy the mashed potatoes and an extra roll for me! We can always buy bigger pants! New Years is coming around the mountain so no need to stress 😂💪🏼🥴♥️

A few months ago I left behind a very comfortable job with a bi-weekly paycheck that came whether I was on vacation or not. In the last 4 months there has been lots of change, some obstacles, a pretty major surgery that I didn’t have planned, and learning to navigate this industry that changes more than teenage girls change their outfits. I’ve come to understand that it takes absolute fierce devotion to the grind and I can see why many don’t make it. Tomorrow we are celebrating what I know is just the beginning of absolute excellence.
