The mule possesses the strength, intelligence, patience, perseverance, endurance, sure-footedness, and even temper of the donkey. From the horse, the mule inherits beauty, athletic ability, courage, vigor, and speed. In addition, mules appear to require less food than a horse of similar size.

I came across this little plumbing masterpiece at a listing this week and had to do a double take. šŸ˜‚

Now, I'm all for being resourceful, and I certainly appreciate a good fix... but Vise-Grips as a permanent bathtub fixture?!

I have questions. SO many questions. šŸ¤£

I guess when they say a home has unique features, sometimes they REALLY mean it!

Those cooler mornings and chilly evenings are a pretty good reminder that winter isn't too far behind. And around here, we all know how quickly Nebraska weather can change! šŸ˜‚

Before we're digging out the winter coats and snow shovels, now is a great time to tackle a few things around the house.

Clean those gutters, disconnect the garden hoses, check the furnace, and take care of those little projects we've been putting off.
