Hello Eagle Ridge Residents! Please read the email that was sent to some of us, as former HOA board members, from the Parks and Facilities Director with City of Papillion. It is regarding updates to the park and splash pad. Exciting news.

From Tony:
First, Matt Kovar and the Library Staff are installing a project this spring/summer around the circular walking path on the Splash Pad side. This project is sponsored by the library and will feature an 18 station Storybook Walk, complete with new pedestals and stories inserted to read, as you walk around the path. If there are any questions, I will let Matt answer them in this thread.
Second, we will be extending concrete aprons for new sitting areas and hopefully, eliminating the holes and wet areas around the Splash Pad. I have received complaints about the holes that form due to overspray, so getting this resolved, as well as adding additional concrete for sitting areas (lawn chairs, bag chairs, etc.) also makes it more useable space. Future additions may see shade awnings as well.
Finally, we are working on the graffiti that occurred on both sides of the park. Winter weather does not allow us to paint except for specific days, so we have been shut out on this for quite a while. We are getting a demonstration from a gentleman who claims to have a power washing system and formula, that guarantees complete removal. That will be occurring next week. We are also investigating the placement of cameras at the restroom area. The main issue there is trying to get wifi at the site, to allow for a 24/7 camera that we have used successfully in other buildings. My camera representative is working on that as I type.
Any questions, let me know.
