Hello, let me introduce myself and thank you for taking a moment to read this. I have lived in Butte County my whole life, so very familiar with the area and customs. On the personal side, I love the ocean, riding quads, h

ave dogs and cats, chickens have loaned horses on my land, and love to grow a hearty garden. I have been a full time Realtor since 1999 and absolutely love what I do and it shows with how I run my business. 🏡 May 2026 Market Snapshot 🏡

As we head into the summer market, we're keeping a close eye on what's happening across Chico, Paradise, Magalia, and Oroville.

Compared to May of last year:

📈 Chico home sales increased from 83 to 92 while inventory grew from 249 to 282 listings.

🏡 Paradise maintained steady sales with 28 homes sold, while available inventory decreased from 147 to 115 listings.

📈 Magalia saw home sales increase from 9 to 13 despite having fewer homes available for sale.

📍 Oroville remained relatively steady year-over-year.

One thing these numbers remind us is that buyers are still active, but not every home is finding a buyer right away. In today's market, pricing, presentation, and marketing matter more than ever.

We’re honored to announce that BCFSC has officially adopted the No-Cost Gravel Grant Program from the Rebuild Paradise Foundation. As Rebuild Paradise Foundation closes its doors after seven years of dedicated Camp Fire recovery work in Paradise, we want to express our deep gratitude for everything they’ve done. Their impact on the community has been tremendous, and we’re committed to carrying this program forward and expanding it to serve residents throughout Butte County.

The No-Cost Gravel Grant Program helps eligible residents improve defensible space by placing gravel on the first 5 feet around qualifying homes. If you were previously approved through the program, expect to hear from us by the end of June with next steps.

Join us in celebrating Rebuild Paradise Foundation’s incredible legacy at their final Sunset Celebration on Saturday, June 27th from 6–8 PM at Paradise Community Park (5570 Black Olive Drive, Paradise).
