Spring is almost here officially. As we all look forward to warmer weather and getting outside again, let's remember all those who continued working outside through the cold winter months, performing essential work to ensure public safety.

Harcon provides specialized equipment for bridge inspectors to do their job. In these pictures, one of our Bucket Boats was the right solution for facilitating inspection work on a bridge in Philadelphia in February.

Harcon is seeking an experienced boat/equipment operator. Applicants must possess a strong work ethic, solid attendance history, be drug free (pre-employment and random DOT drug/alcohol tests are required), and have reliable transportation. Excellent wages and benefits.

REQUIRED:
• EXTENSIVE BOATING EXPERIENCE - personal or professional
• CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
• At least 25 years old (to satisfy insurance restrictions) and physically fit
• Clean criminal record for federal background check to obtain Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
• Ability to work at heights, if needed
• Ability to travel daily with frequent overnight travel

PREFERRED:
• Heavy equipment operating experience
• Mechanical ability, preferably with knowledge and experience in troubleshooting, fixing, and maintaining heavy equipment
• Rigging/climbing ability
• Applicable physical fitness, dexterity, depth-perception and eye-hand coordination
• Trailer towing experience (We will assist you in earning your CDL)
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with clients
• Ability to execute daily work orders safely and efficiently
