Ever hear your Realtor say “appraisal” and wonder what exactly that means? 🤔

An appraisal is an independent opinion of a property’s value, typically completed by a licensed appraiser.

Why does it matter?

If a buyer is getting a mortgage, the lender may require an appraisal to help determine whether the property supports the purchase price.

🏡 Listing price = what the seller is asking
🏡 Offer price = what the buyer agrees to pay
