🚨 Attention waitlist households: 🚨

To determine continued eligibility for Maple Ridge Properties LHDC, we need to update our records. Applicants whose information is older than 120 days should provide:
⏩️ TWO (2) months of consecutive (current) paystubs, if employed
⏩️ Benefit/Award letter from SSA / pensions / alternate sources of income (dated within 120 days)
⏩️ Listing of household members who would occupy the unit, if different from what was listed on your application

Information can be submitted by:
📍Dropping it off at the Maple Ridge office on Mondays or Wednesdays between 830a-4p, or by appt only on Fridays

Contact the Human Resources Center of Edgar and Clark Counties to see if your SNAP eligibility has changed! 💻📱

A quick heads-up for our neighbors who count on food assistance.

SNAP work rules have changed this year, and some adults could lose benefits if they are not meeting the new work requirements or do not qualify for an exemption. The good news is there is a simple way to check where you stand before anything lapses.

Take the state's short SNAP Work Requirements screener here: https://aberp.illinois.gov/screener/ABAWD?lang=EN

You may be exempt, for example if you have a qualifying disability, care for a young child or a disabled family member, are age 64 or older, or take part in a treatment program. The screener walks you through it. For more, visit https://www.dhs.state.il.us.

And if a letter about your benefits ever leaves you confused, bring it to your HRC caseworker or therapist. We will help you make sense of it so no one loses coverage over paperwork.
