Using the correct screws for a breaker panel cover might seem like a tiny detail, but it’s actually a big deal. Panel covers are designed for short, blunt-tipped screws. When someone swaps those out for whatever pointy drywall screw they had in their pocket… that’s when problems start.

The wrong screws can easily pierce a wire inside the panel, which can lead to:
🔥 A potential electrical fire
⚡ A short circuit
😳 Or one incredibly bad day!

All of this is completely preventable with one simple step: use the proper panel screws.

Today’s crawlspace inspection was going smoothly… until I came face-to-face with a skunk standing guard like he owned the place. 🦨
I took that as my cue to respectfully exit and let him continue his “supervision.”
I figured avoiding a surprise cologne upgrade right before my anniversary dinner was the smart move!
