He is a graduate from St. Lawrence University. He also did a semester abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark and traveled through Europe at that time culminating with Running of the Bulls, in Pamplona, Spain in 1976 and lived to tell about it! Other jobs he’s held include: National Park Ranger; Manager for the US Freestyle Ski Team; helicopter hiking guide in Western Canada for Canadian Mountain Holidays;
expedition leader in Alaska for Special Expeditions (whale watching); Assistant Cruise Director – New York to Bermuda. He also worked as a Tour Director throughout North America, Hawaii and The Virgin Islands on and off for 15 years. He is, as well, an avid windsurfer, powder skier, scratch golfer, husband to his beautiful wife Terry and father to four children between them. Matthew began working in real estate 22 years ago, earned Rookie of the Year in 1998 and has been a Top Producer each year since. Matthew was the Top Producer of Jess Reid Real Estate for 2001, 2005 and 2007 through 2018. Jess Reid Real Estate merged with Windermere Real Estate in 2019, and he has been a top producer with Windermere since then.
