In the winter of 2011 we were looking for a new snowboarding location to spend New Years with some family. We chose Park City based on a friends recommendation and fell in love with the area as soon as we arrived. During the following year we joked about buying a condo in Park City; however, as we thought about it more we realized that purchasing property in Park City would be the chance of a life

time. We returned to Park City during the summer of 2012 and started our journey to find our future vacation getaway. We viewed a number of properties and purchased our first condo located in the New Claim project in Prospector Square. After much joy and success with this first investment and with the purchase of Park City Mountain Resort by Vail Ski Resorts, we decided to see if we could find another property that we loved just as much as New Claim. In 2015, our search brought us to The Canyons Village at Park City Mountain Resort. It has always been a dream of ours to own a condo that is within walking distance to a ski lift. Imagine our excitement when we found a lovely, spacious, recently renovated studio that was within a 4 minute walk to 2 gondolas! We immediately pulled the trigger and purchased the property. Shortly thereafter, we formed EJW Properties, LLC and have been moving forward ever since. NORTHERN MOUNTAIN SNOW: Finally! For the first time this season the models are hinting at a significant snow event for the northern Utah mountains. Adjusted timing is Thursday PM - Saturday PM with the heaviest snow falling Friday night into Saturday when snowfall rates could exceed 2”/hr!

Due to that fact that this is a low-end atmospheric river event, we’ll see snow levels rise through time and wind will be a factor. Snow levels start at 4,000 ft and rise to 6500 ft, skiers call this upside down snow (light snow on bottom and wet heavy snow on top) and it makes for high avalanche danger. Winds will be worst Friday night into Saturday morning in the mountains, gusts 45-60 mph possible. Also of note, there is a chance we could see a 30”+ total in the upper cottonwoods!

BAM! Moisture overspreads many areas of the West with a very cold air mass pushing upper elevation snow to the Valley floor later this week. Mother Nature wildfire mitigation. Double digit snowfall totals are likely in some areas of the north-central Rockies that tracks into the 4 corners by the weekend. ❄️⛷️🏂. Who's ready?
