One of the first things I ask my buyers is: What do you actually want your life in Park City to look like?
Because “I want a home in Park City” can mean five completely different things.
🎿 1. If you want true ski-in/ski-out living:
Look at Empire Pass, Deer Crest, or The Colony.
These are some of the first places I’d look if maximizing your time on the mountain is the priority. Empire Pass and Deer Crest put you right into the Deer Valley lifestyle, while The Colony offers incredible ski access at Park City Mountain.
🍸 2. If you want to walk to Main Street:
Look at Old Town, especially around the Town Lift and Upper Woodside.
This is for the buyer who pictures walking to coffee in the morning, dinner and drinks at night, and getting on the Town Lift without having to get in the car.
🏗️ 3. If you want new construction:
Look around Jordanelle, Hideout, and Deer Valley East Village.
Some of the most exciting growth around Park City is happening here right now, from custom mountain homes overlooking Jordanelle Reservoir to brand-new luxury communities near Deer Valley. I’m actively working in this market and also have access to new construction opportunities that don’t always hit the public market.
⛳ 4. If golf is just as important as skiing:
Look at Promontory or Glenwild.
These are great places to explore if your ideal Park City lifestyle includes private club amenities, beautiful golf courses, mountain views, and plenty to do year-round.
🏡 5. If you’re moving to Park City full-time:
Start with Park Meadows, Jeremy Ranch, Pinebrook, or Silver Springs.
These areas offer more of that established neighborhood feel while keeping you close to trails, skiing, schools, restaurants, and everything else you want to enjoy around town.
There really isn’t one “best” neighborhood in Park City. It depends entirely on how you want to live once you get here.
Tell me your #1 Park City non-negotiable, and I’ll tell you where I’d start looking. 👇
