Although her 30+ years’ of local experience has made her one of the community's top-producing and most well-informed agents in the area, it is her international involvement and global awareness that sets Maire apart as a Realtor. She is Utah’s first Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and a member of the Paris based International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), an umbrella organiza
tion representing real estate associated professionals from over 60+ countries. Through her involvement, Maire has developed a vast network of global associates and gained an in-depth understanding of international markets. She has been presenting Utah and Park City’s real estate opportunities for many years at International Trade Shows and forums and has had the privilege of speaking on the topic of real estate in several Asian and European countries. However, Park City is always her primary focus and she relishes the people she meets and assists with their real estate needs. An East Coast native, she was born in Washington, DC and raised in Montclair, NJ and Saltaire, NY. She graduated from Manhattanville College studying pre-med, subsequently working as a pharmacologist for the Swiss firm, Hoffmann-LaRoche. Her curious, adventurous spirit and love of skiing brought her to Utah in the early 1970's. After several years in Snowbird Resort's marketing department, Maire transitioned into real estate, first in Little Cottonwood Canyon, then in Salt Lake, and finally, Park City in 1980. She loves being a part of the well-recognized Sotheby’s real estate network, a brand she knows well from growing up in New York, remembering their purchase of the Parke-Bernet Galleries in the 1960’s. Maire is a listener and always puts her clients first. She believes in staying on the cutting edge in the real estate world, with education being a key. She has garnered considerable professional recognition from her peers for her personal ethics, tenacity and fairness in the real estate industry. Aside from traveling to the far corners of the world and engaging in the outdoor activities that Park City is known for, Maire also loves making time for the arts. She has served on the Board of the Deer Valley Music Festival, and is an active supporter of Ballet West, the Utah Symphony & Opera, and Pioneer Theatre. An outdoor enthusiast, Maire is a founding member of the Summit Land Conservancy, a local land trust that evolved out of the Park City Leadership Program. Maire feels fortunate that Park City is her home and loves introducing people to its stunning landscapes and the welcoming and friendly attitude of the Park City community.
