Having lived in Park City since 1992, I’ve experienced all aspects of this historic, western town and know what it offers. I have loved sharing it with family and friends for nearly 25 years, some who have moved here! With 3 children and my volunteering at the local schools and sports programs, I am proud to say the Park City School District is tops in the state. My husband and I have supported th

e local schools and sports programs in numerous ways, as have many. Park City’s residents are very involved in the community. As a part-time volunteer for over 14 years, my association with the Park City Mountain Resort (now Vail Resorts) has also been an experience worth sharing. Mountain biking, skiing, hiking, outdoor summer concerts occupy some of my free time. They say, “everyone moves here for the winters, but stays for the summers”, and it's true. A Journalism major from the University of Montana, I’ve worked for NBC and ABC networks as a TV news photographer and editor in several major markets. My experience in radio, print and digital marketing fields were
educational and rewarding as well. Originally from Chicago, I tell everyone that Park City offers the best family lifestyle... anywhere! Most importantly, friends and family love to visit! Deer Valley will host the Fox US Open of Mountain Biking this September

The event is one of the most prestigious downhill races in the country and will bring professional, amateur, youth, and adaptive athletes to compete on Deer Valley’s Bald Eagle Mountain trails September 11-13. Spectator admission will be free.

One of Park City’s most beloved community events returns May 16! Teams of 1–8 runners tackle a 27.6-mile relay course winding through all six PCSD schools. With legs ranging from 1.3 to 5.7 miles, there’s a spot for every fitness level - and every dollar raised goes directly to the Park City Education Foundation. This year’s course once again features the famed climb up the Utah Olympic Park stairs.

After a warm spring, golf courses throughout the area are in excellent early-season shape. Soldier Hollow Golf Course in Midway is a perennial favorite with stunning mountain views and easy tee times this time of year. All Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County courses are open as well. Closer to home, Park City Golf Club is open, with Canyons set to open in a few weeks.
