If you have water stains from a toilet that overflowed two years ago, flooding that happened in the basement five or 10 years ago, as long as everything‘s been mitigated, we don’t need to disclose those prior issues. So you absolutely want to paint over old stains. Otherwise, it will make all of your buyers suspicious that there is an active problem. Again I’m not trying to hide anything active, but once it’s fixed, there’s nothing to disclose so clean it up pain over it. 😆😱🏡
