Peter Norton, creator of Norton Utilities programs, purchased the Philip Corbin Mansion, a historic Martha’s Vineyard residence, in 1991 and later commissioned Design Associates Inc. and contractor Doyle Construction to restore the storied structure to her original grandeur. Sadly, shortly after the restoration was complete, a fire destroyed the home. Norton once again commissioned Design Associates Inc. and Doyle Construction as well as interior design firm The Getty’s Group and landscapers Thomas Wirth Associates to completely reconstruct the Queen Anne Victorian. The reconstruction brought back original ornamental detail and colour, returning the “Grand Lady of Ocean Park.”
