Homeowner had an existing radon system that was not working. After multiple radon companies came in And either refuse to do the project or insisted they needed two more Radon systems installed, we evaluated the whole home from scratch. The existing system was absolutely atrocious, there was debris beneath the V***r barriers, that absorbed years of moisture, and was molding, the plastic was of poor quality and deteriorating, it was hard to find anything good about it. We removed the old debris That had signs of mold and mildew, Re-encapsulated the crawlspace with the proper plastic and soil gas mat To ensure proper airflow to help dry out the crawlspace and mitigate Radon, and relocated the extraction point in the slab to where a kid effectively pull Radon from the full basement as well as the crawlspace.
