A lot of sellers still think the hard part is deciding to move.
Honestly, that’s usually not the hard part.
The hard part is making good decisions before the home ever hits the market.
Because homes usually don’t lose momentum all at once.
It happens slowly.
Rushing the prep.
Pricing based on emotion instead of strategy.
Assuming the home will “just sell.”
Choosing the cheapest option instead of the best plan.
Then a few weeks go by, showings slow down, price cuts start happening, and the process becomes way more stressful than expected.
Selling in 2026 takes more than just putting a sign in the yard.
The homes that do best usually have a solid plan from the beginning.
