POV: You hire a contractor who actually looks under the deck. 🛠️
We love how this deck rebuild turned out, but the real victory is what you don’t see. The home’s kitchen was sitting on a cantilever with some seriously subpar footings. While framing the new deck, we engineered and added the proper structural supports to save the kitchen above.
Beautiful on top, bulletproof underneath. That’s how we do it.

Drywall starts Monday… then it’s time for paint and the real transformation begins. Stay locked in — this one’s going to hit different.

With so many projects occurring concurrently it’s hard to keep up with the updates. A lot has changed in Highlandtown. Framing has begun including replacing rotten floors and floor joists, windows are installed and the old pantry off the back of the house has been removed. It’s almost time to get the mechanicals in!
