It is with extreme sadness that we share the passing of AACAR member, Aidan Surlis, Sr.

Aidan passed away on February 5th, 2023. He was an Associate Broker at Team Surlis of RE/MAX Leading Edge. Aidan was a lifetime member of the Masters Club and the Distinguished Sales Club of Anne Arundel County.

Aidan was born and raised in Ireland. He had been a Crofton resident since 1977. He was married to his wife, Catherine, for over 47 years and had three children and ten grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15th 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beall Funeral Home (6512 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20715). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 16th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (1800 Seton Dr, Crofton, MD 21114).

COVID 19 is No Joke.

My Family, surrounding friends, local businesses , neighbors etc: have gotten COVID & some our fighting to make it through.

Our Local Business Owners are having to shut down for days , weeks because all their employees getting Covid from others.

Stop Being Selfish… Do or say Something Great To Others. Let Them Know You Care “Wear Your Mask” Follow the Covid Guidelines. “Save a Life”

Too Many Beautiful Souls Have Been Taken By COVID 19. “I personally have lost Loved Ones” 😢

I personally am trying to get over my fight with having the Flu & Long COVID. It’s been the longest weeks of my life. I don’t wish any of this on anyone.

I got Vaccinated. I’m Home sick with Covid 19 😷😁 I actually have my loving family & friends surrounding me.
They are not on my Computer or on my iPhone screen. I look out my door or window and there are the SMILES that last a lifetime.

“Wear Your Masks” Be COVID 19 SMART… Our Kids Look Up To Us. Educate our Children…Masks,Wash Hands, etc.

If you think your untouchable I am sending you huggss. Enjoy Looking at the same walls, having no outside world contact, In bed for days,your whole body is crying from all the aches & pains you will have every second of the days that follow, months of recovery, memory loss, should I go on? Oh the chest pains& coughing non stop 🛑 You could be at home going through it or in the hospital going through it.

“It’s Your Choice” Your Choice Matters…. 😷😷😷❤️

GO GET VACCINATED- Set the Example for our children. Keep ourselves & our children out of the hospitals.
Think about the years you have been getting the flu shot or the shingles shot, measels, etc;
