I'm a geek when it comes to data! I actually LOVED my stats class. Here is the monthly market update for Real Estate in Manatee County **** Of note: there are 91% MORE LISTINGS than this time last year, and there are only 1.3% more SOLD PROPERTIES. More listings, same amount of buyer means more supply than demand. This causes a decrease in prices and more time on market. It's a BUYER'S MARKET Y'ALL! If you're thinking of buying, now is the time. You'll date the interest rate and marry the house. Don't wait!

Some parts of the real estate market are starting to "normalize" - but Parrish continues to have low inventory, high demand and escalating price per square foot. It is still considered one of the more 'affordable' areas though so it keeps demand VERY high! It's a great time to sell.
