Good news for Parrish 😊

Moccasin Wallow Road update for Palmetto and Parrish! Walmart is now confirmed on MW and the future Sawgrass Rd. Another grocer looks to be joining in, too. Which one? There will be 3 Publix plazas and an Aldi, plus a new grocery plaza is proposed at Artisan Lakes Parkway. Can we get a Trader Joe's up in here please??

Baycare Hospital Manatee has filed for building permits to start on the actual hospital structure. We expect them to break ground within a couple of months. This will have 207 beds with a surgical trauma center and a helipad. A second hospital, HCA, will be located on MW at 301. HCA is starting out with a free standing ER, and they will continue to build 150 beds plus a nursing facility.

Some other retailers coming soon are: Home Depot, Wawa, CVS, Texas Roadhouse, McDonalds, Whataburger, Auto Zone, Slim Chickens, UPS Store, F45 studio, Bealls, Peaches Restaurant, Ed's Tavern, Papa Johns, ABC Liquor, Starbucks, Foxtail Coffee, another unknown coffee drive-thru, Circle K, Race Trac, Daybreak Market, banks, dentists, medical offices, plus more restaurants and neighborhood services.

It took Michael 3 days to hand plot all of these hurricanes. Yup, that's the last 173 years of every landfalling hurricane. Moral of the story? Most of us get hurricanes and have for centuries. Interesting, area from around Norfolk to the Jersey shore not so much. And no "Sandy" because it wasn't a purely tropical system at landfall. 📸 Michael Ferragamo

The First Watch Daytime Cafe opens Monday, December 16th, at 7am in Parrish! Their hours are 7 to 2:30 pm, 7 days a week. They're located on 301 in front of Aldi 🥓🥗☕🥪🥞 🥳

The Publix Gateway Commons plaza on Moccasin Wallow Road in Palmetto will soon welcome a new Bealls store! Bealls opened their first store in Bradenton in 1915, and they've grown to over 650 locations. It's pronounced like bells that ring 🛎 and not like the color teal. It's a family name! This neighborhood sure could use a clothing & housewares store. It will be located in the new building going up next to Jets Pizza. The Parrish Town Center is now advertising for tenants. This commercial development is soon to be located on US 301 near SR 62, next to Crosswind Point. Take a look at the proposed retail types in the chart. A coffee shop, a big box store, a drug store and a grocery store are planned to be included.
