📚❤️ Giving Back Through Reading ❤️📚

Today I had the privilege of volunteering to help children strengthen their reading skills. There’s something incredibly rewarding about watching a child gain confidence as they sound out new words, turn pages with excitement, and discover the joy of a good story.

Reading opens doors to learning, imagination, and opportunity, and I’m grateful to be a small part of that journey. Every book shared, every smile earned, and every milestone reached reminds me how important it is to invest our time in the next generation.

A few hours can make a lasting difference in a child’s life. If you’ve ever considered volunteering, I encourage you to do it—you may find that you receive just as much as you give.

Starting a new adventure at MOTE. I am going to be volunteering Saturday’s from 1-5. This is a huge step in this grief journey and I couldn’t be more excited. This is right in my wheel house with my love for teaching and science and of course sea life.
