☀️ Heat Wave Reminder ☀️

With the extreme temperatures we’re experiencing, air conditioners are working overtime. Even properly functioning units may not be able to keep your home at very low temperatures when it’s 95–100°+ outside.

Here are a few ways to help your A/C keep up:
❄️ Keep blinds and curtains closed during the hottest part of the day.
❄️ Keep exterior doors and windows closed.
❄️ Avoid constantly adjusting the thermostat.
❄️ Limit the use of ovens and other heat-producing appliances during peak afternoon hours.
❄️ Make sure your air filter is clean.

If your A/C is running continuously but keeping your home within about 20 degrees of the outside temperature, it may still be operating normally during extreme heat.

Even though many wipes say “flushable” on the package, they really aren’t designed for household plumbing systems. Flushing wipes can cause clogs, sewer backups, and expensive plumbing repairs.

Please help protect the plumbing by disposing of wipes in the trash instead of the toilet.

We appreciate everyone doing their part to keep things running smoothly! 😊
