I am very happy for my seller who closed escrow yesterday on the sale of her vacant land in Altadena. After a bidding war took place she was able to secure a price of $555,000, approx $76 per SF for her fire-impacted parcel. The initial list price was $499,000, we received four offers within 3 days of listing the property for sale. Land inventory has been steadily decreasing in Altadena since the new year and currently there are only around 50 parcels for sale. Lots priced under $600,000 seem to have more activity compared to higher priced parcels, likely due to their affordability.
