Yukari is a former project coordinator and consultant to a large-scale real estate developer in Japan. Growing up in a small, substandard apartment in public housing, she nurtured her interests in interior design and architecture from a young age. Yukari earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture and a master’s degree in urban design at Tokyo Institute of Technology. Taking a sabbatical leave from her work, Yukari made her way to Los Angeles to become a doctoral student in the Department of Urban Planning at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Desiring a change from corporate life, Yukari decided to stay in Southern California and launched her own real estate business. With her tireless work ethic and support from her clients, Yukari has quickly built a successful career. Her architectural and urban planning background has given her a greater breadth of knowledge and the ability to identify the future potential of properties and neighborhoods. Her years of working as a project coordinator have equipped her with both the skills to comfortably navigate a complex buying and selling process and the ability to effectively negotiate with people of conflicting interests. Yukari is technology savvy—she is in love with the ever-changing state of real estate information technology and new internet marketing techniques.
