Congratulations to my seller, Larissa!

In April I got a call from a stranger telling me she wanted me to sell her house right now. She had done amazing work on the house and was very ready to give someone new the chance to live there. So, we set to work right away to make it happen.

It seemed like everything that could go wrong... did. First offer got cold feet and pulled out the next morning. I had it under contract again the next day. Inspection negotiations were back and forth. We got it done. Appraiser noted a couple things to take care of... and gave us quite a hard time. Larissa kept moving forward and got everything done well. Of course, I pitched in where I could. Who doesn't love a sanding and painting party in 97 degree weather? haha Too soon for that joke, I think.

Calling her today to let her know settlement was finished successfully was an amazing thing to be able to do. We worked hard. We got it done together. I know she keeps saying she appreciates me, but I hope she realizes how much I truly appreciate her as well. Some clients leave you better- a better agent and a better person. I sure hope we go out for dinner and margaritas soon!

So excited to get this home Under Contract! Had it Under Contract in 5 days and the buyers got cold feet by the morning, so we went with the other offer and it was back under contract that day. Seller is excited. Buyers are happy. Inspections today and tomorrow. Ready to get this one to settlement. It’s always wonderful to sell a home in your own neighborhood.
