When you make an offer on a home and it’s accepted, an earnest money deposit is a good-faith deposit that shows the seller you’re serious about moving forward with the purchase.

Think of it as your way of saying, “I’m committed to this home.” 🔑

✨ Your EMD may be applied toward your closing costs or down payment at closing, depending on the terms of your contract.
