Another deal closed in District Heights.
This one came down to timing.
The seller was facing foreclosure, and once the payoff came in, it was higher than our original contract price — putting the deal at risk.
On top of that, a foreclosure date was set while we were already under contract.
Instead of letting it fall apart, we adjusted the deal, moved quickly, and were able to close just days before the auction.
Situations like this are stressful — but they’re also more common than people think.
If you’re dealing with a tight timeline or a property that doesn’t quite work on paper, there are often still options.
