ICYMI - Bogeys Ice Cream is officially open for the summer! My daughter and I drove by on their opening day after picking her up from school and we knew we had to stop for a treat. The story about our stop is going to sound staged and fake, but I promise it was just a hilarious coincidence.

I ordered a banana split. But not just any banana split… I told them very specifically and enthusiastically how it was to be formed and that I expected it to be crafted with love or it won’t be right. The girls at the counter were cracking up, which attracted the attention of the manager. She stated that this banana split won’t fit in a standard banana boat. So they created a foil-lined to-go box and built me the largest banana split of MY LIFE!

This is where it gets good. The manager made a Jaws joke that they "need a bigger boat." At which time I took my jacket off and proudly displayed the t-shirt I was wearing. 😂 What are the odds? We were all laughing!

If you haven’t been to Bogeys Ice Cream yet, what are you waiting for? They are only open for the summer months. They offer generous portions and delicious flavors. Most normal people are going to be content with a kiddie cone… but I am not a normal person. 😉
